Su iniziativa del giovane Dino Gobbi, figlio del proprietario dell’albergo della Posta di Piotta, appena rientrato dal Canton Grigioni dove dirigeva il Kurverein di San Moritz, fu preparata una pista di pattinaggio sul prato di fronte al suo albergo. Si cominciò allora a giocare a disco su ghiaccio.I bastoni venivano preparati dal carradore Visconti, che li ritagliava da giovani alberi di frassino leggermente ricurvi.
Nella foto si vedono alcuni discatori sul campo di ghiaccio davanti all'albergo. La seconda persona da destra è una donna!
